Vortechtral (Kai Wiggins – Portsmouth – UK) is the main artist, behind the almighty Techment Records, an international DJ, techno producer, and live artist, who has seen support and chartings from DJs, radio shows, and magazines across the globe, including Radio1, DJ Mag, I-DJ, Paris One, M8 mag and many more. His music has been picked up by over 45 labels worldwide, and been featured on over 100 releases, with tracks featured on CD compilations, and used for soundtracks in both the film and gaming industries. Vortechtral has remixed and worked with some of the top names in the industry, his other aliases Vortech, Vortechtral AM, Benni Blanco, offer an output for different electronic styles. Vortechtral is on the MOSP DJ agency in Cezch, and has been performing around the globe. He also works as a studio engineer having worked for some very exclusive famous dance music artists and labels, runs events and promotions in the UK, and is involved in hosting radio shows on a variety of well respected stations.

Vortechtral (Kai Wiggins – Portsmouth – UK) is the main artist, behind the almighty Techment Records, and a purveyor of peak time funky bass lines, an international DJ, worldwide techno producer, and live artist, whos own quality extensive collection of releases and remixes, alongside Techment’s outstanding output from its international roster, have been featured in DJ Mag in both UK and Poland, IDJ, Loud Magazine (Japan), M8 Mag, and seen support and charts from DJs and radio shows across the globe, from Canada to Russia, including Radio 1 (UK), Paris One, DI.fm, RTE, Techno FM, Eddie Halliwell, Pedro Delgardo, DJ Preach, Wehbba, DJ Irish, Axel Karakasis, Mark EG, DJ Misjah, Bryan Cox, Q’Hey, Ian Void, Peppelino, Tom Hades, Christian Fischer, Christopher Lawrence, Trevor Rockcliffe, and many many more. His own tracks and remixes feature on such labels as Techment, Primate / Endangered Species, Patterns, TechHead, Intravenous Cuts, Teggno, Kazoo, Prozak, Innervate, ADS, Dazed, Toy Friend, Sub Cult, Beatform, a mix compilation CD album on Style Records, CD albums on In Deep, and many more featuring on over 100 releases worldwide, under 4 different artist aliases.
As an artist he has been commercially releasing music since he was 13, and is globally well known in the industry for his Vortechtral techno productions. He also releases chill out productions under the name Vortechtral AM, which have received global recognition on then the old mp3.com, and show influences from Orbital, Aphex Twin, Air, Sphongle, FSOL, The Orb, and Kevin Yost, these are released on his second record label In Deep Recordings. Nujazz under the alias Benni Blanco, more melodic dancefloor tracks under Marco Santonio, and breaks and Drum and Bass under the Vortech alias.
From his UK based studio Vortechtral produces and masters for labels and artists worldwide, and has completed remixes for artists including Christian Fischer & DJ Murphy, Ian Void, Marco G, Axel Karakasis, Martyn Hare, Odessa Soundfreaks, Pratap, Tiago S, Jon Gurd, John Karagiannis, Fer BR, Alex Dias, Wyrus & Dastin, and many more, with tracks featured on CD and mix compilations released worldwide, and used for soundtracks in both the film and gaming industries.
As a DJ and Live artist playing techno, he is on MOSP (CZ) one of the top DJ agencies in the scene, and was in the top10 voted best UK techno DJs in 2007, and within the the top40 best DJs in Europe. He also spins breaks and drum and bass under the name Vortech. He hosts a regular show the Technologic / Techment Sessions on the Digitally Imported radio station, and has featured as a guest on many other radio shows including Radio Epiloges (Greece), Techno FM, and Express FM (UK). Vortechtral runs the events Subtechment, Downtown, and Base in the UK, previously ElectraMento, and Dust Up. He also teaches music production and DJing, distributes and masters for other labels, and has been known to create and perform visuals, flash, graphics and web design work for clients across the globe.
